Clayton Kershaw - In line for short rehab assignmentKershaw (pelvis) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

ImpactKershaw has made steady progress of late, most recently throwing roughly 30 pitches in a bullpen session Wednesday. According to Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, Kershaw is expected to throw four innings in his rehab appearance and then rejoin the Dodgers' rotation. That would put him in line to start at some point during next weekend's series against the Giants.

ImpactMuncy took part in batting practice Wednesday, and he'll be cleared to return to game action at the minor-league level over the weekend. It's not yet clear how many rehab games he'll require, but he'll likely be in the mix to rejoin the Dodgers next week.

ImpactPillar was removed from Wednesday's loss to the Pirates due to a shoulder injury, and he underwent scans Thursday that revealed a fracture. It's not yet clear how much time the outfielder will be forced to miss, but manager Dave Roberts said surgery is a possibility, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
