Rodolfo Castro - Advances to Triple-ACastro will be promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis to close out the season, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

ImpactCastro was sent to Double-A Altoona in late August, and he hit just .082 with a homer, six runs, five RBI and a stolen base across 18 minor-league games since then. He'll now face a higher level of competition in Indianapolis late in the year.

Roansy Contreras - Promoted to Triple-AContreras will be promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis to close out the season, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

ImpactContreras has made three appearances since he returned from a forearm injury at the beginning of September, and he recorded a 4.32 ERA and 0.84 WHIP in 8.1 innings during that time. Although the righty missed approximately two months due to his injury, he'll still receive a promotion late in the 2021 campaign.

Mason Martin - Heads to Triple-AMartin will be promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis to close out the season, Jarrod Prugar of DK Pittsburgh Sports reports.

ImpactMartin has gone just 1-for-18 with an RBI and a walk across his last five appearances at Double-A Altoona, but he'll progress to facing the top level of minor-league competition late in the year. The 22-year-old slashed .242/.318/.481 with 22 home runs, 75 RBI and 62 runs across 112 games in Altoona this season.

Canaan Smith-Njigba - Promoted to Triple-ASmith-Njigba will be promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis to close out the season, Jarrod Prugar of DK Pittsburgh Sports reports.

ImpactSmith missed nearly a month with a thigh injury but returned to game action Sept. 10. Across five appearances since then, he went just 1-for-13 with four runs and five walks, but he'll be rewarded with a late-season promotion.

Oneil Cruz - Heading to Triple-ACruz is expected to be called up to Triple-A Indianapolis to close out the season, Jarrod Prugar of DK Pittsburgh Sports reports.

ImpactCruz missed a month and a half with a forearm strain earlier in the season and will advance to Indianapolis for the first time. The 22-year-old appeared in 62 games at Double-A Altoona this year and slashed .292/.346/.536 with 12 homers, 51 runs, 40 RBI and 18 stolen bases.
