Impact Ortega will sit for the first time since July 18, ending a streak of six straight starts during which he went 7-for-19 with a triple, a walk, an RBI and a stolen base. He appears to have worked his way into a timeshare in the outfield with Ian Happ, but both players will head to the bench Sunday with a lefty (Caleb Smith) on the hill for Arizona.

Impact Batting leadoff, Ortega singled and stole second in the first and slapped an RBI triple in third but was caught stealing home. The 30-year-old has come out of the All-Star break hot, going 6-for-13 with three extra-base hits, though he now has just three thefts on the bases compared to four times being caught.
