Starting Thursday Dobnak is listed as the Twins' scheduled starter for Thursday's game in Cleveland. Impact Dobnak returned from the 60-day injured list last week and immediately reclaimed a spot in the Minnesota rotation, after previously swinging between a starting and long-relief role for the big club before being shut down in late June with a right middle finger strain. While he gave the Twins seven innings Sept. 3 against an excellent Rays squad, he was pummeled for five runs and six hits between the second and third innings alone. The strong finish to the start was enough for Dobnak to earn a second turn, and he'll likely have some staying power in the rotation for the rest of the season now that the 61-77 Twins are in full-on evaluation mode with younger pitchers on the roster.
