Traded to Padres Kerr and Corey Rosier were sent from the Padres to the Mariners on Saturday in exchange for Adam Frazier, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports. Impact Kerr looked good in 39.2 innings in the upper minors last season, striking out 36.8 percent of opposing batters en route to a 3.18 ERA. He turned 27 in September, however, so those numbers may not be quite as exciting as they look on the surface. The lefty was added to the Mariners' 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft prior to the deal, which should give him a good chance of making his debut for the Padres this season.
