Time up with Rangers Guzman (knee) elected free agency Friday after being outrighted off the Rangers' 40-man roster, independent baseball journalist Jeff Wilson reports. Impact Guzman is still arbitration eligible, but he's accrued enough minor-league seasons to elected free agency when removed from the 40-man roster. The 27-year-old played in only seven games during 2021 due to a torn meniscus and the necessary surgery, but he should be healthy for spring training.
