Impact Hilliard was the presumed primary starter in center field to open the season for the Rockies, but he'll instead begin the campaign on the bench. Randal Grichuk, who was recently acquired from Toronto, will start in center and figures to cut into Hilliard's playing time. Kris Bryant and Charlie Blackmon will start in left and right field, respectively, while Connor Joe serves as the designated hitter.
