Juan Soto - Smacks two-run homer Soto went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Saturday's 10-6 loss to the Phillies in Game 4 of the NLCS.
Impact Soto launched a hanging slider from Brad Hand 383 feet into the right field bleachers in the fifth inning, breaking the 4-4 tie and giving the Padres a 6-4 lead in Game 3, but they were unable to hold on for the win. Soto's six career postseason homers brings him into a tie with Evan Longoria for the second-most in MLB history before turning 24, trailing Carlos Correa by just one. The 23-year-old is now 10-for-43 in the postseason with six RBI, and he is slated to face Zack Wheeler in a must-win Game 5 -- Soto has two homers off Wheeler in 40 at bats for his career.

Manny Machado - Solo shot in loss Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Saturday's 10-6 loss to the Phillies in Game 4 of the NLCS.
Impact Machado hit a 100-mph line drive off Phillies starter Bailey Falter that reached the left field bleachers to give the Padres a 1-0 lead in the first inning of Game 4. Machado has now homered in two of the past three games, and he has reached four postseason homers for the first time in his career. The 30-year-old righty also continued his streak of multi-hit performances following hitless games, which he has now accomplished in seven straight instances. Machado is slated to face starter Zack Wheeler in a must-win Game 5 -- he is 2-for-11 with two singles against Wheeler in his career.

Impact Clevinger's rough postseason continued Saturday night as he was relieved by Nick Martinez without recording an out in the first inning. The 31-year-old Clevinger was given four runs by his offense in the top of the first, but a leadoff single followed by a Rhys Hoskins homer, a walk and a Bryce Harper RBI double was enough to knock him from the game. Clevinger has now surrendered seven runs across two postseason starts while recording only eight outs in total.
