Jose Azocar - Racks up three hits in win Azocar went 3-for-4 with two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 12-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Impact Azocar hadn't played since Sunday with the Padres facing a stretch of right-handed pitchers. He made the most of his chances, delivering RBI singles in the sixth and eighth innings of the blowout win. The rookie outfielder is up to a .278/.326/.684 slash line with five steals, 10 RBI and 19 runs scored through 176 plate appearances. He adds little in the way of power, but he should continue to see the short side of a platoon in center field while Trent Grisham gets most starts versus righties.

Brandon Drury - Homers twice Friday Drury went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Friday's 12-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Impact Drury did his damage early, opening the scoring with a two-run blast in the first inning. He added a solo shot in the fourth for his first multi-homer game of the season. He's now 4-for-8 with three extra-base hits in two games since returning from the 7-day concussion injured list. The 30-year-old is up to a .266/.322/.511 slash line with 27 long balls, 82 RBI, 79 runs scored and two stolen bases through 121 contests between the Padres and the Reds this year.

Impact Snell's lone mistake was a Christian Walker solo home run in the fourth inning. Beyond that, Snell turned in his longest outing of the year and one of his best, as well as his third quality start in his last four games. The lefty trimmed his ERA to 3.85 with a 1.29 WHIP and 146:45 K:BB across 110 innings through 21 starts this year. He's projected for a home start versus the Cardinals next week.

Impact Manaea made his first start in nearly two weeks and pitched relatively well.
