ImpactKnehr joined the big-league club Monday but will return to the minors after making one appearance for the Padres. He has yet to allow a run and has a 7:0 K:BB over 8.1 major-league innings this year.

Adrian Morejon - Reinstated from injured listMorejon (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day injured list Wednesday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
ImpactMorejon has been out a few weeks with shoulder inflammation, but he'll rejoin San Diego's bullpen after a three-game rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso. The left-hander has covered only 4.2 frames for the Padres this year, but he could play a big role in the middle innings during the second half of the season.
