Eric Lauer - Solid in no-decisionLauer allowed three runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out four in six innings in Sunday's loss to the Padres. He didn't factor in the decision.
ImpactLauer turned in a quality start after lasting just four innings in his last outing Tuesday. He left Sunday's game in line for the loss after a sloppy fifth inning, but the Brewers were able to force extra innings to get him off the hook. This was his sixth quality start of the year. Lauer has a 2.38 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 65:17 K:BB across 56.2 innings in 10 starts. He lines up for a road start versus the Nationals next weekend.

Jake Cronenworth - Delivers big hit in 10th inningCronenworth went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and a walk in Sunday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the Brewers.
ImpactCronenworth had an RBI single in the fifth inning and a three-run home run in the 10th, with the latter hit giving the Padres enough to win the game. He's now gone deep in consecutive contests after hitting just one long ball in all of May. The versatile infielder is slashing .217/.301/.353 with five homers, 26 RBI, 27 runs scored and no stolen bases through 53 games. He's added nine doubles and two triples while maintaining a consistent place in the starting lineup throughout the year.

Taylor Rogers - Converts 18th saveRogers allowed an unearned run on one hit to earn the save in Sunday's extra-inning win over Brewers.
ImpactRogers gave up an RBI single to Andrew McCutchen, but he was fortunate to be pitching with a three-run lead at the time. The southpaw had taken three losses and two blown saves in his last four appearances since his most recent save prior to Sunday. The struggles have pushed Rogers to a 3.00 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 26:6 K:BB across 24 innings this year, and he's now 18-for-21 in save chances. He's still the Padres' closer, and Sunday's outing should instill a little more confidence going forward.
JUNE 5, 2022ROTOWIRE
Mike Clevinger - Goes three innings in returnClevinger (triceps) allowed a run on one hit and two walks with five strikeouts in three innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Sunday.
ImpactClevinger was eased back into action, throwing 60 pitches (36 strikes) in his first start since May 17. He allowed a leadoff homer to Kolten Wong in the first inning and nothing more before Nick Martinez delivered four frames of relief pitching. Clevinger has managed a 3.18 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 20:7 K:BB in 17 innings across four starts this year after missing all of 2021 to Tommy John recovery. The right-hander should see a slightly lighter workload with the Padres likely to roll a six-man rotation after the breakout of MacKenzie Gore. Clevinger is expected to make his next start at home versus the Rockies next week.
JUNE 5, 2022ROTOWIRE
Hader records 40th consecutive scoreless inningIn 18 games this season, Hader recorded 26 strikeouts and holds a 1.11 ERA through 16.2 innings pitched.
