Cristian Pache - Secures roster spotPache has officially made the Athletics' Opening Day roster, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactPache's exact role hasn't been announced, but the door appears to be open for him to be the primary center fielder for the rebuilding squad. Pache struggled significantly at the plate in 22 games for Atlanta last season, hitting .111/.152/.206, and he was merely a league-average bat at the Triple-A level, hitting .265/.330/.414 with a 27.5 percent strikeout rate.

Dalton Kelly - Fails to earn roster spotKelly was reassigned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Christian Bethancourt - Reassigned to Triple-ABethancourt was reassigned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.
ImpactThe catcher signed a minor-league contract with the Athletics in November, playing in 13 games this spring and producing a .381 batting average along with two extra-base hits and five RBI.
