Jurickson Profar - Exits after HBPProfar was removed from Wednesday's game against the Pirates after getting hit in the knee by a pitch, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
ImpactProfar took a 95-mph fastball off his right knee in the sixth inning of Wednesday's contest. He was able to limp to first base and remained in the game after being examined by trainers, but the decision was made to pull him after he had a hard time running to second base on a Xander Bogaerts single. The severity of Profar's injury is still unknown, but Bryce Johnson could be in line to make a start in the outfield if the 31-year-old is forced to miss any amount of time.
