Impact Wood will likely serve as the bulk reliever behind opener John Brebbia on Friday night against the Diamondbacks before settling back into more of a regular rotation role next week. The left-hander threw only 46 pitches in his lone rehab start Sunday at Triple-A Sacramento. He's been out since April 19 with a left hamstring strain.
