Impact Webb was not at his best Thursday as 12 of the 24 batters he faced reached safely. It was the first time in his big-league career that he failed to record a strikeout in a start. He was pulled with two outs in the fifth inning, ending a streak of 13 straight starts where he completed at least five frames. After fanning an impressive 26.5 percent of batters in 2021, the 25-year-old has a below-average 19.6 percent strikeout rate this season. His next start will likely be in the middle of next week in Detroit.

Diego Rincones - Lands on injured list Rincones was placed on the 7-day injured list at Double-A Richmond on Thursday for an undisclosed reason.

Impact Rincones has played 81 games at Double-A Richmond this season and has slashed .258/.305/.376 with eight home runs, 38 RBI and 30 runs. It's not yet clear how much time he's expected to miss, but he'll be unavailable for at least a week.

Michael Gigliotti - Placed on 60-day IL Gigliotti was placed on the 60-day injured list for an undisclosed reason Thursday.

Impact Gigliotti spent most of the 2022 season at Double-A Richmond and logged a .366 on-base percentage with seven homers, 49 runs, 29 RBI and 24 stolen bases over 75 games. While the nature of his injury isn't yet clear, he'll be forced to miss the remainder of the season after landing on the 60-day IL.

Marco Luciano - Rejoins High-A Eugene lineup Luciano (back) will start at shortstop for High-A Eugene on Thursday after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list a day earlier, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Impact Luciano came off the bench Wednesday in his first game action for Eugene since June 3, but he should take on an everyday role for the High-A club beginning with Thursday's contest. The 20-year-old was shut down for nearly two months due to the lower-back strain before he was cleared to begin a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League. For the season, Luciano is hitting .286 with eight home runs and a 9.3 percent walk rate across 165 plate appearances for Eugene.

Dominic Leone - Slips up Wednesday Leone (3-4) allowed two runs on three hits and struck out one in one inning, taking the loss Wednesday versus the Diamondbacks.

Impact Leone gave up a single to Christian Walker and a double to Stone Garrett before allowing a two-run single to Jake McCarthy in the eighth inning. The Giants' offense couldn't bail him out, sending Leone to a loss for the first time since July 24. In 9.1 innings since the All-Star break, the setup man has struggled, allowing nine runs, 13 hits and four walks while striking out 10.
