Luis González - Gets third straight start Gonzalez will start in right field and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Padres.

Impact Since being called up from Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Gonzalez has seemingly recaptured the near-everyday role he held prior to his demotion to the minors May 16. With LaMonte Wade (knee) back on the injured list, Gonzalez will pick up his third consecutive start in right field after going 1-for-8 with a double and a walk between the first two games of the series.

Joey Bart - No. 1 catching job reopens Bart will start at catcher and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Padres.

Impact Bart was on the bench for four of the Giants' last five games and appeared to be moving into the No. 2 role behind the plate, but he should now have some temporary security atop the depth chart after Curt Casali (concussion) was placed on the 7-day injured list Saturday. For the season, Bart is batting a disappointing .169 with four home runs in 86 plate appearances.

Brandon Belt - Not starting Sunday Belt is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Impact It's unclear whether the lefty-hitting Belt's absence from the starting nine for the series finale is a result of southpaw MacKenzie Gore starting for the Padres or continued discomfort in the first baseman's right knee (or a combination of both). In any case, Belt will be on the bench for the third day in a row, which allows Wilmer Flores to pick up a start at first base.

Impact Pederson was the only Giant to log multiple hits in the low-scoring contest. The outfielder hadn't posted a multi-hit game since April 24, going just 4-for-46 (.087) in the 17 games in between.
