Austin Warren - Activated, optioned to Triple-A The Giants reinstated Warren (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Sacramento, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact Warren has been on the injured list all season while working his way back from a Tommy John procedure he underwent in May 2023. He has been playing in rehab games at Triple-A since June 18, and although he's now fully recovered, he'll remain in Sacramento after allowing 10 runs (nine earned) in just 8.1 innings. He will reclaim a spot on the 40-man roster, though he'll likely need to turn in better results in the minors before having a chance to join San Francisco.

Impact Wade recently battled a tight hamstring and didn't play Thursday, though he was back in San Francisco's lineup Friday. There's no word that he aggravated the issue, but it's a bit surprising to see him not starting against a right-hander (Simeon Woods Richardson). Wilmer Flores is playing first base and batting seventh for the Giants on Saturday.

Jordan Hicks - Admits body is 'feeling it' Hicks said after Thursday's loss to the Blue Jays that his body "in general is just feeling it a little bit more than in past seasons," NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Impact Hicks has already surged past his previous career high in innings with 95 after previously topping out at 77.2 frames as a rookie in 2018. After a brilliant start to his tenure in San Francisco, Hicks has struggled lately, posting a 6.08 ERA and 1.78 WHIP over his last eight starts. There have been no indications that Hicks will be limited in the immediate future, but the Giants may need to find ways to ease his workload down the stretch to keep the 27-year-old from wearing down completely in his return to a starting role.

Kyle Harrison - Secures fifth win Harrison (5-4) earned the win over the Twins on Friday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk while striking out three over 5.1 innings.
Impact Harrison allowed four runs on four hits and four walks over 3.1 innings against the Guardians in his first start back from the injured list July 6, so this was a sizable step forward. For the year, Harrison is at a 4.08 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 73:27 K:BB over 86 innings spanning 16 starts. The 22-year-old lefty built up to 83 pitches Friday after throwing 72 pitches in his first start back, and he is tentatively in line for two start (@LAD, vs. COL) in the first full week after the All-Star break.

Impact Wisely's offense has been all or nothing in July with three multi-hit efforts and just one his over the other seven contests. The shortstop finished a home run shy of the cycle Friday in one of his best games of the year. The triple was his first of the campaign. Wisely is slashing .286/.322/.436 with three home runs, 10 doubles, 18 RBI, 16 runs scored and one stolen base over 150 plate appearances. With Nick Ahmed released by the Giants earlier in the week, Wisely is now the starting shortstop, though he may sit out in favor of Tyler Fitzgerald against some left-handed pitchers.
