Luis Matos - Homers in return to MajorsMatos went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over Atlanta.
ImpactMatos, who was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento prior to Sunday's contest, opened the scoring in the second inning with a 425-foot blast off of Max Fried. It's Matos' second homer with the Giants this season after hitting 10 in the minors. Overall, the rookie outfielder is slashing .245/.309/.337 with 18 runs scored, 10 RBI and three steals across 180 major-league plate appearances this season.

Wilmer Flores - Homers in winFlores went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's victory over Atlanta.
ImpactFlores put the Giants ahead 3-2 with a two-run homer off Max Fried in the third inning, his 17th long ball of the season and his ninth in 31 games since the All-Star break. The 32-year-old Flores is just two homers shy of matching his career high set last season. He's now slashing an impressive .301/.359/.541 with 43 RBI and 40 runs scored across 323 plate appearances on the campaign.

ImpactFried's final line could've looked a lot worse Sunday -- he held the Giants to three runs on a pair of home runs despite allowing a season-high nine hits. Overall, Fried is 4-1 with a 2.83 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 45:9 K:BB across nine starts (47.2 innings) this season. He's currently in line for a rematch with the Giants on the road in his next outing.
