Ryan McMahon - Two hits SundayMcMahon went 2-for-5 with a double, one RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's extra-innings loss against San Francisco.
ImpactAfter recording three hits Saturday, McMahon stayed hot with two more Sunday. The 27-year-old has a modest four-game hitting streak, as he raised his average in the month to .359. He now owns a .252/.341/.404 slash line this year. As long as he continues hitting in the leadoff spot, he should contribute in runs and average.

ImpactBlackmon notched two singles, one in the eighth to score Ryan McMahon to move the game to 6-4. ImpactGrichuk's 13th home run was a 462 foot moonshot to left-center which scored Charlie Blackmon and tied the game at six in the bottom of the eighth. Grichuk is now hitting .304 with four home runs in the month of August and is slashing .267/.307.427 this year. He should continue to produce, especially at home where nine of his 13 home runs have come.
