ImpactAhmed inked a major-league deal with the Dodgers on Wednesday and went 1-for-3 during his debut with Los Angeles. In his second game, Ahmed lifted a go-ahead home run in the eighth inning against his former team. Before being released by the Giants on July 11, Ahmed logged a .232 batting average with one homer, 15 RBI and 13 runs in 172 plate appearances.

Logan Webb - Another rough startWebb didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Dodgers, allowing four runs on nine hits and three walks across five innings. He struck out four.
ImpactWebb surrendered at least four runs and eight hits for a third consecutive start, raising his ERA from 3.09 to 3.72. The right-hander also failed to complete six innings for the second time during that stretch after having thrown six or more frames in 11 consecutive outings.
