Darell Hernaiz - Sitting out MondayHernaiz is not in the lineup for Monday's contest against the Rays, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactHernaiz had started each of the last five and seven of the last eight games at third base, but he will begin this one on the bench. Abraham Toro is getting the call at the hot corner in the series opener versus the Rays.

Brett Wisely - Optioned to SacramentoThe Giants optioned Wisely to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
ImpactThe move makes room on the 26-man roster for the reinstatement of Thairo Estrada (wrist) from the 10-day injured list. Wisely has been with the big club since May, but he saw his playing time diminish since the All-Star break, a span in which he's slashed .167/.207/.204 with six RBI across 56 plate appearances. Wisely will have an every day role in Sacramento, and he could return to the majors should the Giants need infield depth.

Thairo Estrada - Reinstated from injured listThe Giants activated Estrada (wrist) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ImpactEstrada missed the last three-plus weeks with a left wrist sprain but is ready to go after a five-game rehab stint which saw him go 9-for-21 with one home runs. Brett Wisely was sent down to Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move.

Hogan Harris - Inconsistent since Triple-A returnHarris owns a 2-2 record, 4.94 ERA and 1.83 WHIP across 27.1 innings over five starts since being optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on July 26.
ImpactThe elevated metrics are largely the result of Harris' last two starts, when he's surrendered 12 runs (11 earned) on 16 hits (three home runs) and five walk across 9.1 innings. In contrast, Harris' first three starts upon returning to the Aviators saw him replicate much of the same success he'd enjoyed at the big-league level, as he'd pitched to a 2-0 record, 2.00 ERA and 11.0 K/9 in that span. Control has clearly been a persistent issue at both levels for Harris, however, and it remains to be seen if the southpaw can build some momentum before the minor-league season concludes and subsequently log at least a couple of more starts with the Athletics before the end of the major-league campaign.
