Stephen Piscotty - May require surgeryManager Bob Melvin said Saturday that it's "very possible" that Piscotty (wrist) could require surgery, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactPiscotty was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left wrist sprain Saturday, and Melvin revealed that the issue is something the outfielder has dealt with throughout the season. Seth Brown should see the majority of playing time in right field while Piscotty is sidelined, and the 30-year-old will likely miss extended time if he ultimately undergoes surgery.
