Wilmer Flores - Out for seasonFlores (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2024 season, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
ImpactFlores underwent a Tenex procedure on his right knee Tuesday and the Giants ruled the infielder out for the remainder of 2024 following the surgery. The 32-year-old's 12th MLB season comes to and end with 71 games played, totaling four homers, 19 runs and 26 RBI in 242 plate appearances. Mark Canha is slated to platoon with LaMonte Wade at first base in the closing two months of the regular season.
