Homers in Monday's win Ohtani (hand) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's game 8-7 win over the Yankees. Impact Ohtani crushed his league-leading 42nd homer off former teammate Andrew Heaney in the fifth inning to put the Angels back in front, 6-5. The solo blast allowed Ohtani to hit the 90-RBI mark, good for sixth-most in baseball. The 26-year-old is now slashing .264/.362/.626 and has 86 runs scored, 20 steals and 67:159 BB:K over 516 plate appearances. The question now remains when he'll be able to make his next start as a pitcher after he was scratched from his scheduled turn through the rotation Tuesday while he manages a sore right wrist. While X-rays came back negative after he was struck by a pitch Saturday, the Angels surely won't take any risks with Ohtani in September if he's less than fully healthy. The injury doesn't look to be anything that would result in him being shut down as the Angels' everyday designated hitter, however.
