ImpactMcFarland struck out one in a perfect inning during Wednesday's outing, and he'll make his second rehab appearance Friday. Assuming the southpaw feels good following Friday's appearance, it seems likely that he'll be back in action in the coming days.

Yadier Molina - Still no baseball activitiesMolina (knee) hasn't yet resumed baseball activities, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
ImpactMolina returned to his native Puerto Rico in late June to rehab his right knee and has been feeling better recently, but he isn't yet ready to resume baseball activities. The 39-year-old will require a rehab assignment prior to rejoining the Cardinals, so it seems likely that he'll be sidelined until at least after the All-Star break.

ImpactO'Neill underwent testing that didn't reveal a fracture in his wrist, but he's dealing with some swelling. He was initially targeting a Friday return but will now be re-evaluated over the weekend. It's not yet clear whether the 27-year-old will be able to return during the Cardinals' weekend series against the Phillies.
