ImpactBlackmon tagged Kyle Gibson fora two-run home run in the second inning, marking the outfielder's third home run in six games and his 12th long ball of the campaign. Seth Halvorsen - Nabs another saveHalvorsen picked up the save Thursday against the Cardinals, allowing one hit and no walks with one strikeout across a scoreless ninth inning.
ImpactHalvorsen picked up his second save of the campaign but appears to have a lock on the Rockies' closing job in the wake of Tyler Kinley's elbow injury. Halvorsen has been excellent since being called up Aug. 30, logging a 1.69 ERA with a 10:2 K:BB across 10.2 innings.
