Davis Daniel - Back in majorsThe Angels recalled Daniel from Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
ImpactThe 26-year-old had a one-day stint in the majors in late April but didn't see game action. Daniel made three appearances for the Angels last season and posted a 2.19 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 9:9 K:BB over 12.1 innings.

Amir Garrett - Designated for assignmentThe Angels designated Garrett for assignment Wednesday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
ImpactGarrett will be pushed off the 40-man roster as Davis Daniel comes up from Triple-A Salt Lake to take Garrett's place in the Angels' bullpen. Since joining the active roster in late April, the 32-year-old southpaw has given up three earned runs while striking out 11 batters through 5.1 innings across six appearances. He's performed well in the minors this year and found a good amount of success last season with the Royals, so it's possible he draws interest from other teams on the waiver wire.

Jo Adell - Sitting WednesdayAdell isn't in the Angels' lineup for Wednesday's game versus St. Louis, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
ImpactAdell will sit out the series finale after going 1-for-7 with a run scored and two strikeouts through the first two games. While he rests, Kevin Pillar will fill the open spot in right field while batting fifth.
