Impact Matz was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Sunday due to an inconclusive test, but the team confirmed Monday that his test came back positive. While the southpaw is currently asymptomatic, he'll need to spend time away from the team as a result. It's not yet clear who will take Matz's place in the rotation in the near future.

Impact Matz bounced back from an ugly outing the last time out and while he couldn't clinch what would've been his fifth quality start of the season, he still looked solid on the mound. The left-hander has given up two or fewer runs in four of his last six contests and is projected to make his next start next week at home against the Yankees.
