Kevin Kiermaier - Scratched with sore groin Kiermaier was scratched from the lineup for Friday's Grapefruit League game against Baltimore due to left groin soreness, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Impact As long as the issue remains nothing worse than soreness, Kiermaier should still have time to get ready for Opening Day, though he's also battled a sore neck earlier in camp and underwent arthroscopic knee surgery over the offseason. It's possible the accumulation of minor problems sends him to the injured list. Josh Lowe will start in center field and would be a candidate to man the position on a regular basis if Kiermaier missing time, though Manuel Margot and Brett Phillips could also see their roles increase.
