Richie Palacios - Set to miss four-to-six weeks Rays manager Kevin Cash said Friday that Palacios will miss four-to-six weeks due to a right knee sprain, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact Palacios was placed on the injured list Friday after spraining his right knee in Wednesday's game against the Marlins. The timeline would put Palacios on track to return to action in late August or early September, which gives Kameron Misner and Dylan Carlson an opportunity to see more playing time in left field. Prior to his injury, Palacios was slashing .233/.350/.332 with 19 stolen bases, five home runs and 21 RBI across 300 plate appearances.

Kameron Misner - Summoned to big leagues The Rays selected Misner's contract from Triple-A Durham on Friday, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Impact It's the first major-league promotion for Misner, who has slashed .247/.356/.446 with 15 home runs and 27 stolen bases with Durham this season. Misner, 26, also has a 30.1 percent strikeout rate with Durham, and swings and misses have been a problem for him throughout pro ball. He's capable of handling all three outfield spots but it's unclear how much Misner will play.

Richie Palacios - Heads to IL with sprained knee The Rays placed Palacios on the 10-day injured list Friday with a right knee sprain, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Impact Palacios suffered the injury in Wednesday's loss to the Marlins. The severity of the sprain hasn't been revealed, so it's not clear at this point how long the super utility player might be sidelined. Kameron Misner is absorbing Palacios' spot on the Rays' roster.

Xavier Isaac - Moved up to Double-A Isaac has been promoted from High-A Bowling Green to Double-A Montgomery, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports.
Impact Isaac won't turn 21 until December but has already reached the Double-A level after slashing .288/.380/.537 with 15 home runs and 14 stolen bases over 70 games with Bowling Green. He is arguably the top first base prospect in all of baseball.

Ryan Pepiot - Bullpen session coming Friday Pepiot (knee) is scheduled to throw another bullpen session Friday, MLB.com reports.
Impact Pepiot has thrown a pair of bullpen sessions since landing on the injured list July 21 following a brief hospitalization due to a right knee infection, which is believed to have stemmed from a spider bite. The right-hander experienced significant swelling to his knee as a result of the infection, but he was cleared to resume throwing last week once the inflammation subsided. Pepiot is now in the process of building back up, and if Friday's side session goes well, he could be cleared to face hitters in live batting practice. Given the brevity of his stay on the IL thus far, Pepiot could get the green light to rejoin the Tampa Bay rotation as soon as next week without the need of a rehab assignment.

Impact Misner will be set for his big-league debut and will be replacing Richie Palacios (knee) on the active roster. He has a 108 wRC+ and .358 wOBA across 433 plate appearances with Triple-A Durgam this season, though he's old for the level at 26. Misner isn't likely to have a role as a regular in the Rays' lineup.
