Richie Palacios - Hitting bench Sunday Palacios is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Impact The Guardians are bringing a righty (Ben Lively) to the hill for the final contest before the All-Star break, but the lefty-hitting Palacios will hit the bench nonetheless after starting in the first two games of the series. With Palacios taking a seat, Amed Rosario will pick up a start at second base.

Jonny DeLuca - Seeing more playing time DeLuca went 0-for-4 with a strikeout Saturday against the Guardians.

Impact DeLuca was in the lineup for the sixth time in the Rays' last nine games. He's earned that playing time primarily by subbing in for Josh Lowe against lefties, though he's also drawn three starts in center field in that span. DeLuca hasn't delivered much with the increased playing time, tallying one home run and three RBI with two runs scored while striking out at a 36 percent clip, though he does have six hits in 24 at-bats.

Josh Lowe - Swipes eighth bag Lowe went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Sunday against the Guardians.

Impact After battling injuries for much of the first half, Lowe has yet to find his rhythm at the plate. He's hit just .188 with a 37.1 percent strikeout rate across 10 games in July, though he has managed four stolen bases in that span. Lowe's performance should improve in the second half if he can stay healthy, but he has only a .670 OPS across 158 plate appearances to this point.

Zack Littell - Nabs quality start in no-decision Littell allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out three batters over six innings in a no-decision against the Guardians on Saturday.

Impact Littell got through four scoreless frames before serving up a solo homer to Angel Martinez in the fifth inning. A catcher's interference call on batterymate David Fry led to a second Cleveland run in the frame, which tied the score and took Littell out of line for a victory. The right-hander ended his outing on a high note, retiring the side in order in the sixth to notch his first quality start since June 9. Littell will finish the first half of the campaign with a 4.26 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 94:19 K:BB over 101.1 innings.
