Pirates visit Rays in battle of MLB's two best teamsIt’s probably not what many would have expected a month ago looking at the series between the Tampa Bay Rays and visiting Pittsburgh Pirates...

Elvis Andrus - Tallies three hits in winAndrus went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 12-9 win over the Rays.
ImpactAndrus notched his first three-hit effort of the campaign and his fourth multi-hit game overall on the year. He was able to raise his slash line to .206/.274/.245 and now has nine RBI, nine runs and a 7:20 BB:K over 113 plate appearances. He totaled 17 home runs a season ago between the Athletics and the Sox but has not left the yard yet over the first month of the season. The 34-year-old is playing nearly every day but has not churned out enough production early on to be considered a fantasy asset.

Adam Haseley - Erupts with four hitsHaseley went 4-for-5 with an RBI, a walk and three runs scored in Sunday's 12-9 win over the Rays.
ImpactHaseley received just his second start since he was called up to the big league club two weeks ago and took full advantage of the opportunity. The 27-year-old was put in the leadoff spot and singled in the first, third, fifth and ninth innings and reached via a walk in the seventh. His RBI knock in the ninth tied the game up at nine apiece and he would come around to score on a walkoff three-run blast by Andrew Vaughn. Haseley was a first round pick back in 2017 but has never lived up the profile since debuting in 2019. There's not really much upside with him, but he could move ahead of Oscar Colas on the team's outfield depth chart with Colas struggling to make an impact at the dish. Haseley's big performance Sunday puts him at a slash line of .545/.615/.636 over 13 plate appearances.

Yasmani Grandal - Slugs homer in winGrandal went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Sunday's 12-9 victory over the Rays.
ImpactGrandal sent a blast to straightaway center in the sixth inning to put the White Sox back in front 3-2. He also reached after being hit by a pitch and later scored as part of a seven-run ninth inning. It was his third long ball of the year, and he's well on his way to surpassing last year's total after only managing five home runs. The 34-year-old is now slashing .241/.323/.446 with 11 extra base hits, nine RBI, eight runs, and an 8:22 BB:K over 93 plate appearances.

Luis Robert Jr. - Appears as pinch hitter SundayRobert (hamstring) made a pinch-hitting appearance in Sunday's 12-9 win over the Rays and was hit by a pitch in his lone trip to the plate in the seventh inning.
ImpactRobert exited early in Saturday's 12-3 loss after he jogged lightly to first base when hit a groundball back to the pitcher in the bottom of the first inning, with manager Pedro Grifol suggesting afterward that the outfielder was pulled due to a lack of hustle. However, Robert disclosed to the media following that game that he didn't run out the grounder since he was still experiencing some right hamstring discomfort stemming from Friday's contest and was trying to be conservative with when he chose to exert max effort. There seems to be some merit to Robert's claim, as he was available off the bench Sunday but was lifted for a pinch runner immediately after he took his base when he was hit by the pitch. Robert will benefit from the White Sox having off Monday, and he could be ready to reclaim his regular role in center field in Tuesday's series opener with the Twins.
