Tomás Nido - Gets plugs for dry eyesNido recently had punctal plugs inserted into each of his eyes to help with his vision issues, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
ImpactThe plugs open his tear ducts and keep his eyes more naturally lubricated. Nido has also been prescribed medicated eye drops to aid in solving the dry eye syndrome that sent him to the injured list last week. He could be ready to return to the Mets relatively soon, though they might want to run with Francisco Alvarez and Michael Perez as their catching tandem for a while longer. Omar Narvaez (calf) will be back in the mix eventually too.

Harold Ramírez - Hits bench WednesdayRamirez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
ImpactRamirez filled in at first base for Yandy Diaz (groin) in Tuesday's 8-5 win, but Isaac Paredes will replace Diaz in the second game of the series. Though he's holding down a robust .925 OPS for the season, Ramirez is still expected to find himself out of the lineup once or twice per week due to the Rays' wealth of options in the corner infield, outfield and at designated hitter.

Tyler Glasnow - Another rehab start likelyGlasnow (oblique) is likely to make another rehab start before rejoining the Rays' rotation, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
ImpactGlasnow was excellent in a rehab start with Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, striking out nine over four scoreless innings. While that seems to have put any concern over his minor setback in his previous outing to bed, he still needs to be built back up a bit. Glasnow's season debut should come next week, likely at home against the Dodgers.

Taj Bradley - Starting Thursday for RaysBradley will start for the Rays on Thursday in New York against the Mets, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
ImpactIdeally, the Rays would probably like to keep Bradley in the minors a little longer as he works on his pitch mix and getting used to a traditional five-day schedule. However, with the big-league club's rotation hit hard by injuries, they don't have much of a choice here. While Bradley struggled lately at Triple-A Durham, he was excellent in his three starts with the Rays earlier this season and will have a shot to remain in the rotation for the long haul.
