Battling mild wrist sprain Hernandez suffered a mild left wrist sprain while diving for a ball in a recent workout but isn't expected to miss much time, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Impact Wrist injuries can diminish a player's power, but this particular one doesn't seem like a major worry, as he didn't require an MRI or any follow-up testing. Hernandez has already resumed fielding practice and is expected to return to game action within a few days.
