Impact Make sure to get Jung out of Friday lineups and weekend lineups wherever you've got a healthy, active option. Jonathan Ornelas is starting at third base and batting ninth Friday. With Texas out of playoff contention, it wouldn't be surprising if Jung doesn't return this season.

Dane Dunning - Back in big leagues The Rangers recalled Dunning from Triple-A Round Rock on Friday.

Impact The right-hander was sent to Round Rock in late August but will rejoin Texas for the final stretch of the regular season. Dunning has started in 14 of his 24 appearances in the majors this season but is likely to fill a relief role this time around. He has a 5.38 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 85:39 K:BB across 90.1 innings.

Impact Rocker's second start was a bit rockier than his first, needing 71 pitches to complete three frames. Despite his control trouble, his one earned run allowed was scored without allowing a hit and the second run allowed came off of a throwing error. Kumar Rocker - Expected to get start next week Rocker is expected to make another start for the Rangers during the final week of the season, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Impact Rocker will make his second major-league start Thursday versus the Blue Jays after he struck out seven and allowed one run over four innings in his major-league debut last week against the Mariners. The Rangers are currently working with a six-man rotation and could theoretically expand to seven if they choose to give Jack Leiter another start. There's also Rocker's workload to consider in his first year back from Tommy John surgery. However, it sounds like Thursday's outing versus Seattle will not be his final one of the season. Rocker will face either the Athletics or the Angels on the road next week.

Carson Kelly - Entering lineup Thursday Kelly will start at catcher and bat eighth in Thursday's game against the Blue Jays.

Impact Texas will make room in the lineup for both of its catchers Thursday, as top backstop Jonah Heim will get a day off behind the plate and serve as the Rangers' designated hitter. Even though Heim sits atop the depth chart, Kelly has still received a fair amount of playing time by the standards of No. 2 catchers since he was acquired from the Tigers on July 28. The veteran reliever then needed nine pitches to get through the final two batters and log his 31st save of the campaign. Yates has converted all six of his save opportunities in September and hasn't allowed a run since Aug. 29 against the White Sox. He's also recorded multiple strikeouts in two of his last three appearances.

Cody Bradford - Hurls seven-inning gem Bradford (6-3) picked up the win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday, allowing five hits over seven scoreless frames while striking out six.

Impact Bradford had a no-hitter going through the first four innings before Alejandro Kirk tagged him for a single to lead off the fifth. The southpaw would get through the frame unscathed, however, and allowed just two batters to reach second base during his seven innings on the mound. It marked Bradford's second time this season in which he held the opposing team scoreless through six or more frames and he's now posted quality starts in six of his last seven outings. He's now 2-1 in September (three starts) with a 4.86 ERA to go along with a 14:2 K:BB.
