Corey Seager - Racks up five hits, four RBI Seager went 5-for-5 with a double, a home run, two total runs and four total RBI in Saturday's 8-4 victory over the Rays.
Impact Seager came into the contest in what can be considered a mini-slump in light of his overall body of work this season, as he had gone 1-for-12 with four strikeouts over his previous three contests. The shortstop got back on track in emphatic fashion against Tampa Bay, notching his first career five-hit game, which included a two-run double and a two-run homer. Seager's batting average shot up 27 points to .352 as a result of the big performance, and he's added seven homers, 13 doubles, 33 RBI and 23 runs through 144 plate appearances on the season.

Nathan Eovaldi - Notches ninth victory Eovaldi (9-2) earned the win over Tampa Bay on Saturday, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out six batters over 6.1 innings.
Impact This won't go down as one of Eovaldi's best starts this season, but he was staked to an early lead and cruised to the win, with the only hiccup being a four-run fourth inning by the Rays. Eovaldi is now tied with Tampa Bay ace Shane McClanahan for the MLB lead in victories on the campaign, and he hasn't been stuck with a loss since April 12. The right-hander's 2.49 ERA and 0.98 WHIP are easily on pace for the best marks of his career.

Spencer Howard - Sent down to Triple-A Howard was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday.
Impact Howard made his season debut Friday after missing the first two months of the season with a lat strain, and it couldn't have gone much worse. The Rays bullied him to the tune of four runs in one third of an inning, as he walked one batter, hit another and gave up four hits. Per Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News, the Rangers believe they called Howard up too early, as he joined the team after making just two rehab outings. He'll continue to get stretched out in the minors and is a potential rotation option if the Rangers get hit with more injuries, but his career 7.39 ERA means the team probably won't be happy to look his way.
