Impact Church holds a 4.50 ERA and 1.33 WHIP through 18 innings with Double-A Frisco; however, his numbers are heavily inflated by a performance in which he allowed four runs in 1.1 innings. If the 22-year-old righty is able to adjust well to Triple-A hitters, he will likely finish the season in Round Rock.

Impact Jung singled in his first at-bat, and after being retired in back-to-back plate appearances, he launched a two-run home run in the ninth to cut Pittsburgh's lead to 6-4. It was the second straight game Jung hit a long ball, and he's also hit safely in 10 of his past 11 appearances. During that stretch, the 2019 first-round pick is slashing .318/.375/.477. On the season, he's hitting .263/.312/.474 with 10 homers and 30 RBI.

Dane Dunning - One out away from quality start Dunning did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing one run on six hits and three walks over 5.2 innings during a 6-4 loss to Pittsburgh. He struck out three.
Impact Dunning was able to work around trouble for the most part, allowing just one run on a fielder's choice in the second, but he was pulled in the bottom of the sixth with two outs after letting back-to-back hitters reach. Dunning began the season as a reliever but has moved into the rotation recently and submitted impressive results. He's allowed two or fewer runs and completed at least five innings in each of his four starts, posting a 1.59 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB across 22.2 innings. Dunning figures to remain in the rotation as long as he's able to continue his strong play.

This was the second consecutive outing in which he did not pitch in a high-leverage situation.

Travis Jankowski - Rehab assignment kicking off Jankowski (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.
Impact Jankowski felt tightness in right hamstring May 7 and was placed on the injured list soon after. He had a regular role in left field when he sustained the injury, but others have hit well during his absence. Robbie Grossman, Josh Smith and Ezequiel Duran are expected to be in the mix when Jankowski returns.

Impact Texas manager Bruce Bochy said Garver will serve as the designated hitter the first two games, then the plan is have him catch the third game. The planned length of Garver's rehab assignment is not yet known.

Impact Texas manager Bruce Bochy said the session went "really well and said deGrom is scheduled to throw another bullpen session Friday, at which time he'll incorporate breaking balls for the first time in his recovery. The Rangers have not yet decided if the right-hander will need a rehab assignment.
