Adolis García - Leaves the yard Tuesday Garcia went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer and a walk in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Royals.

Impact Garcia hit the Rangers' second three-run blast of the day, following up one hit by Marcus Semien with one of his own in the eighth to extend the lead to 12-2. Garcia is now tied for fifth in Major League Baseball with 17 RBI, which has saved him from an otherwise underwhelming slash line of .200/.246/.367 through 70 plate appearances this season.

Marcus Semien - Goes deep again Tuesday Semien went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, two walks and two runs scored in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Royals.

Impact Semien has now homered in three straight games after he sent a towering three-run blast to left field and is up to four total on the year. He's been in a nice groove at the plate, slashing .333/.415/.667 with 13 RBI, 12 runs and a 5:4 BB:K over his last nine games. The power wasn't as evident a year ago after it took him 43 games to hit his first home run but he's certainly found his power stroke and will look to keep things going.

Josh Jung - Steals base in win Jung went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Royals.

Impact Jung reached in the second on in infield hit and then walked in the fourth. He wound up swiping second for his first steal of the year and eventually came around to score. The 2019 first round pick is living up to the billing early on in the season, slashing .288/.333/.492 with three home runs, nine RBI and 10 runs.

Nathan Eovaldi - Picks up win No. 2 Eovaldi (2-2) secured the victory Tuesday over the Royals, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings.

Impact Eovaldi tossed his first quality start of the year and had a nice bounce back game after the Royals pummeled him for six runs on April 12. He got off to an undesirable start, however, after giving up a leadoff triple to Bobby Witt and allowing him to score on a sacrifice fly. He wound up surrendering another run in the fourth but otherwise held the Royals in check for the majority of the game. The 33-year-old lowered his ERA to a 5.40 to go along with a 1.48 WHIP and a 24:4 K:BB over 21.2 innings. He'll look to build off the strong start in a projected road matchup with the Reds next week.

Impact Jung, who normally bats fifth, slid up to cleanup as Adolis Garcia was given the night off. The move paid immediate dividends in the first inning when Jung hit his third home run of the season, giving Texas an early lead it would not relinquish.
