Impact This was Langford's second four-hit game over his last seven contests after he hit for the cycle last Sunday. The outfielder is 12-for-26 (.462) in that span, and he's also added a 4:6 BB:K. It's taken him some time, but it appears he's found some consistency at the plate midway through his rookie year. Langford is slashing .270/.337/.398 with four home runs, 37 RBI, 28 runs scored, 11 doubles, four triples and seven stolen bases over 66 contests.

Impact Seager's hitting streak is up to 12 games, a span in which he's gone 17-for-46 (.370) with eight extra-base hits, eight RBI and eight runs scored. The shortstop's fourth-inning homer turned this game into a romp for the Rangers. Seager is slashing .271/.352/.473 with 16 long balls, 43 RBI, 40 runs scored and one stolen base through 77 contests overall.

Impact Eovaldi limited the damage to a two-run home run by Jose Caballero in the third inning, and the Rangers generated plenty of offense to counter that. This is the third start in a row where Eovaldi's completed seven innings, though it was a small step back from his one-hit outing versus the Padres last Tuesday. The right-hander is building back up from the Tommy John surgery he underwent last May and likely won't be an option for the Texas rotation until his 30-day rehab window comes to an end in early August.
