John King - Heading to Triple-AKing was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday.

Austin Hays - Returns to lineupHays (wrist) is starting Wednesday's game against the Rangers, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
ImpactHays was out of Tuesday's lineup due to a right wrist injury, but he'll start in left field and bat cleanup a day later. Over his last six games, he's hit .083 with a double, a run and four strikeouts.

Ryan Mountcastle - Sitting again with sinus issueMountcastle (illness) will remain out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers, but he's hopeful to start in Thursday's series opener against the Angels, Roch Kubatko...
ImpactThough he'll be on the bench for the second game in a row while he battles a sinus issue, Mountcastle was at least able to take part in a pregame workout Wednesday. Mountcastle took approximately 30 swings and but was still feeling somewhat woozy afterward, according to Kubatko, which may have prompted the Orioles to exercise some extra caution with the 25-year-old. The first baseman is expected to be available off the bench, per Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com.

Brad Miller - Playing time picking upMiller will start in left field and bat seventh in Wednesday's game against the Orioles.
ImpactMiller will get his fourth start in five games, with most of his increased opportunities coming at the expense of Leody Taveras, who has started just twice during that stretch. Since Miller bats from the left side while Taveras switch hits, manager Chris Woodward could consider using the players in a soft platoon. Both will stay in the lineup against a right-hander (Spenser Watkins) on Wednesday, however, as it's everyday outfielder Adolis Garcia that finds himself on the bench in what's likely just a maintenance day.
