ImpactReyes looks to be progressing from the right hamstring injury that has kept him on the shelf since May 26, but the Guardians haven't yet offered up a target date for the 26-year-old's return to the lineup. According to Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal, the Guardians plan to meet with Reyes on Friday to decide his next steps, so more clarity on his situation could come over the weekend.

Aaron Civale - Beginning rehab assignmentCivale (glute) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Columbus on Thursday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
ImpactCivale sustained a glute injury in late May and required blood treatment, but he threw a side session Monday and will take another step in his recovery process by beginning a rehab assignment Thursday. The right-hander will throw three innings in Columbus during his first rehab start, and it's not yet clear whether he'll require multiple minor-league appearances prior to rejoining the Guardians.
