Hit in head by pitchDavis left Monday's game against the Rockies after getting hit in the helmet by a fastball, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ImpactDavis' helmet appears to have helped him prevent a serious injury, as he was up and looking fine after the incident, but he'll leave the game nonetheless. Assuming the injury doesn't keep him out long, he's expected to enter the season as the Rangers' primary designated hitter while Willie Calhoun (groin) misses the first two weeks.

Exit considered precautionaryDahl was removed from Monday's game against Colorado as a precaution after fouling a ball off his right knee, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.
ImpactDahl has had more than his fair share of bad luck with injuries, but it appears as though he's not dealing with anything particularly significant this time around. Assuming he's dealing with nothing worse than a bruise, he should be able to get back on the field within a few days.

Exits with apparent injuryDahl left Monday's game against the Rockies with a team trainer, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
ImpactThe nature of Dahl's injury is unclear, but he appeared to be walking gingerly as he left for the clubhouse. Injuries are sadly nothing new for the outfielder, who appeared in just 37 percent of the Rockies' games over the last four seasons before being non-tendered in December.

Running early onEntering play Monday, Ramirez has gone 8-for-29 with two doubles and two stolen bases in as many attempts.
ImpactThe home-run production isn't there yet for Ramirez this spring, but his continued involvement on the basepaths is an encouraging sight with stolen bases seemingly becoming increasingly rare MLB-wide every year. Though his batting average has been highly volatile in recent seasons, Ramirez's track record of durability, prime lineup placement and power/speed combination makes him a fine selection in the first round or early second round of fantasy drafts.

Sizzling start to springReyes has appeared in 10 Cactus League games entering Monday, going 9-for-28 with four extra-base hits and a 1:11 BB:K.
ImpactReyes' strikeout rate is up a little bit this spring, but he's providing plenty of power to compensate for it, slugging three home runs and a triple thus far. The burly 25-year-old even contributed a stolen base, though fantasy managers shouldn't count on him running once Opening Day arrives, given that he has zero career regular-season steals. The power is real, though, and Reyes has the ability to challenge for the MLB home-run crown if he's able to do a better job of consistently squaring up on the ball in 2021. Due in large part to a career-high 50.3 percent groundball rate, Reyes left the yard only nine times in 59 games last season, a disappointing output for a player who slugged 37 homers the year prior.
