Josh James - Restarting rehab assignmentJames (hamstring) will restart his rehab assignment at Triple-A Sugar Land on Sunday, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

ImpactJames began a rehab assignment June 25 and made six appearances, but he was struck by a liner July 16 and went back to Houston to have his hamstring looked at. The right-hander allowed one run on six hits and four walks while striking out six in 6.2 innings prior to his shutdown, and it's not yet clear how many outings he'll require before he's reinstated from the injured list.

Aledmys Díaz - Slated to return MondayDiaz (hand) will be reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

ImpactDiaz appeared in six games during his recent rehab assignment, and he went 4-for-18 with a double, two runs, two RBI, five walks and four strikeouts during that time. The 30-year-old has been sidelined since June 6 due to a fractured right hand, but he should be available for the series opener in Seattle.

ImpactBregman isn't expected to return during Houston's 10-day road trip, which begins Monday, but the rehab assignment indicates his activation is on the horizon. The 27-year-old could be back for the Aug. 5 matchup with the Twins if the rehab stint goes smoothly.
