ImpactRendon underwent wrist surgery in June and appeared likely to miss the remainder of the season, but he was reinstated from the 60-day IL on Wednesday and served his five-game suspension over the weekend. ImpactRagans made his final start of the year against the Angels on Saturday and allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out two in five innings to settle for a no-decision. Even though he wouldn't have pitched again in 2022, he's dealing with a calf issue that will force him to finish the year on the IL. It's not yet clear whether the injury will have any impact on his offseason program.

ImpactMiller made his final start of the season Sunday against the Angels, allowing seven runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out five in four innings to take the loss. He posted a 10.97 ERA and 2.25 WHIP in 10.2 innings over four appearances (two starts) in the majors this year and isn't guaranteed a major-league role to begin the 2023 campaign.
