Oswald Peraza - Promoted to Triple-APeraza was promoted from Double-A Somerset to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, Conor Foley of The Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
ImpactPeraza is set for his second promotion this summer after the infielder previously moved up to Double-A in early June. He continued to impress offensively at Somerset, slashing .294/.348/.466 with 12 homers, 51 runs scored, 40 RBI and 20 stolen bases across 79 games. At just 21 years of age, the Yankees will likely want Peraza to get plenty of at-bats in at Triple-A before considering him for a major-league call-up, but all signs so far point toward him having a chance to become an everyday player at the big-league level.

Jonathan Loáisiga - Bullpen scheduled for FridayLoaisiga (shoulder) threw from 120 feet Tuesday and will do the same Wednesday before throwing a bullpen session Friday, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.
ImpactThe right-hander continues to make steady progress after hitting the injured list Sept. 5 with a strained right rotator cuff. The plans for Loaisiga beyond Friday's bullpen session aren't entirely clear, but even if the next step is to go on a minor-league rehab assignment, he should still have a chance to return for the last series or two of the regular season.

Kohei Arihara - Clears waiversArihara cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.
ImpactArihara was DFA'd on Sunday after posting a 6.64 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 24:13 K:BB across 10 starts with the Rangers. He didn't find any suitors on waivers, so he'll remain with Texas as minor-league depth for the time being. The right-hander signed a two-year, $6.2 million deal in the offseason, so the Rangers will certainly be looking for signs that he can turn things around heading into 2022.
