Brad Miller - Exits with right hip tightnessMiller was removed from Sunday's game against the Athletics at the end of the fourth inning due to right hip tightness.

ImpactMiller was productive to begin Sunday's matchup, as he went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI to help give the Rangers an early lead. The Rangers said that the 32-year-old's removal from the lineup was precautionary, and he'll be evaluated ahead of Monday's series opener against the Rays. If Miller misses any additional time, Eli White and Charlie Culberson would be candidates for increased at-bats.

Austin Pruitt - Strong in long relief SaturdayPruitt, called from Triple-A Las Vegas earlier in the day, fired three scoreless innings during which he allowed two hits in a loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

ImpactPruitt gave the Athletics some much-needed length on a day when starter Zach Logue was chased after 2.1 innings. The journeyman right-hander, who also has 10 starts on his career resume, is likely remain in a multi-inning role while up with the big-league club.

Jacob Lemoine - Returns to minorsLemoine was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

ImpactThe 28-year-old surrendered seven runs in his two appearances since being recalled May 20, and he'll now head back to Triple-A. Lemoine has a 7.71 ERA and 13:7 K:BB over 16.1 innings for Oakland this year.

Adam Kolarek - Sent to Triple-AKolarek was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

ImpactKolarek was promoted from Triple-A during the opening weekend of the season, and he'll return there after giving up four runs over his past three outings. Overall this season the left-hander has a 4.58 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 9:8 K:BB across 17.2 innings.

Christian Bethancourt - Multi-hit effort in Saturday's lossBethancourt went 2-for-4 with a run in a loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

ImpactThe reserve backstop reached safely for the fourth time in five games and generated his second multi-hit effort in that span. Bethancourt continues to be an occasional contributor at the plate, but it remains to be seen how much longer his stint on the big-league roster will last with Stephen Vogt (knee) kicking off his rehab assignment Saturday and therefore likely to return to action relatively soon.
