Nick Snyder - Shut down for seasonSnyder (shoulder) will be shut down for the remainder of the season, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ImpactSnyder underwent further testing which revealed no structural damage, but the Rangers will still elect to shut him down for the rest of the 2021 campaign. The right-hander made four appearances in his first taste of big-league action this year and posted a 4.91 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 3.2 innings.

Andy Ibáñez - Begins rehab assignmentIbanez (hamstring) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Monday.
ImpactIbanez has missed two weeks with a strained left hamstring. Given the relatively brief nature of his absence, he shouldn't need too long of a rehab assignment, though it's not yet clear exactly when the Rangers expect him to return. The team will be excited to have him back, as he hit .467/.500/.733 over his last 12 games before he suffered the injury.
SEPTEMBER 13, 2021ROTOWIRE
Jonah Heim - On bench MondayHeim will sit Monday against Houston.
ImpactHeim and Jose Trevino continue to split time fairly evenly behind the plate. Heim's .202/.240/.366 season slash line doesn't make a great case for a larger share of the available starts, though neither does Trevino's .232/.262/.325 performance.

Lou Trivino - Second straight scoreless outingTrivino fired a scoreless ninth inning in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday, recording a strikeout.
ImpactFollowing a disastrous five-appearance stretch between Aug. 21 and Sept. 4 during which he yielded 13 earned runs on eight hits over 3.2 innings, Trivino bounced back to provide back-to-back scoreless one-inning, one-strikeout efforts during the weekend series against Texas. Manager Bob Melvin gave the embattled reliever six days between appearances after the last game of former sample, and the time away from the mound may have helped reset the right-hander mentally. Despite the improved form versus the Rangers, high-leverage opportunities may be at a premium for Trivino during the remainder of the regular season.

Jake Diekman - Continues strong run SundayDiekman, who fired a scoreless eighth inning during which he allowed a walk and struck out the side in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday, hasn't allowed a run in nine of his last 10...
ImpactThe veteran left-hander seems to be really hitting his stride down the stretch, and he's forged an impressive 13:4 K:BB across the nine innings covering the entirety of the aforementioned sample. Diekman did stumble against the Blue Jays four appearances ago by allowing three earned runs on three hits, but he's otherwise largely invoked memories of the career-best form he exhibited in 2020.
SEPTEMBER 13, 2021ROTOWIRE
Daulton Jefferies - Stellar over multiple inningsJefferies fired 3.1 scoreless innings in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday, allowing three hits and recording two strikeouts.
ImpactJefferies ate up some valuable innings after starter James Kaprielian couldn't make it out of the fourth frame. The young right-hander has now interspersed a pair of multi-inning scoreless efforts among another two appearances where he's allowed a total of three earned runs, leading to a solid 2.70 ERA and 0.90 WHIP across the 10 innings he's logged during his current big-league stint.
SEPTEMBER 13, 2021ROTOWIRE
Starling Marte - Continues hitting SundayMarte went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.
ImpactWin or lose, Marte continues to thrive on an individual basis on the majority of days. Sunday, the veteran outfielder extended his hitting streak to six games with his third multi-hit effort in the last four contests. In a testament to his status as one of the most elite sources of balanced fantasy production in all of baseball, Marte now boasts a .356/.383/.600 slash line with three doubles, a triple, two home runs, six RBI, a walk, a hit-by-pitch, three stolen bases and 12 runs over his last 11 games.
