Getting another start Friday Myers is scheduled to start Friday's game against the White Sox at American Family Field.

Impact Myers moved from the bullpen into the rotation this past weekend in Boston and struck out four while allowing one run over 4.1 innings in his start Sunday. The performance was good enough to earn Myers a second straight turn through the rotation for what will be his sixth start overall with Milwaukee this season. Over his 22.1 total innings for the Brewers, Myers has pitched to a 4.43 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 23:9 K:BB.

Impact Myers is taking the roster spot vacated by Joe Ross (back) and is also a candidate to take Ross' place in the rotation, although it would appear he'll be available in relief for now. The right-hander holds a 5.29 ERA and 17:9 K:BB over 17 innings covering four starts with Milwaukee this season.

Impact Myers spent time with the Guardians, Giants and White Sox organizations in 2022, and he posted a 7.82 ERA across 76 innings at the Triple-A level between the three clubs. The 24-year-old has yet to make his MLB debut, and he'll need to deliver improved results next season to have a chance of seeing the big leagues.

Impact The minor-league right-hander will cede his spot on the Giants' 40-man roster to infielder Dixon Machado, whom the San Francisco acquired from the Cubs on Sunday. After being traded himself from Cleveland to San Francisco earlier this month, Myers made two appearances for the Giants' Triple-A affiliate in Sacramento. He'll likely stick around with Sacramento if he goes unclaimed upon being exposed to waivers.

Traded to San Francisco Myers was traded from the Guardians to the Giants on Thursday in exchange for cash considerations, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Impact Myers began the season at Triple-A Columbus but sputtered to a 6.00 ERA and 1.77 WHIP in 60 innings over 14 starts. He'll attempt to right the ship with his new organization, and he'll report to the Giants' Triple-A affiliate for now.
