Vladimir Guerrero - Powers offense in win Thursday Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double, two total runs and four total RBI in a 7-6 win against Baltimore on Thursday.
Impact Guerrero knocked in a run with a double in the first inning, belted a two-run homer in the fifth and added an RBI triple in the sixth. He finished a single shy of a cycle and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. The slugger has been absolutely absurd during the streak, slashing .507/.575/1.096 with 10 homers, 22 RBI, 23 runs and an 11:7 BB:K.

Chad Green - Picks up 10th save Green posted a save against the Orioles on Thursday, allowing one run on two hits while striking out one batter over one inning.
Impact It didn't look like Green would be needed in the contest with Toronto carrying a 7-2 lead into the bottom of the ninth inning. However, reliever Zach Pop couldn't record an out while loading the bases, so Green was brought in to contain the damage. He didn't do remarkably well himself, as a fielder's choice, a double and a single allowed Baltimore to bring the deficit to within one run. However, Green was able to get Anthony Santander to fly out with the tying run on first base to end the threat and record his 10th save. Green hasn't blown a save this season and is firmly entrenched in the closer role with Yimi Garcia now in Seattle and Jordan Romano uncertain to return in 2024 due to an elbow injury.

Kevin Gausman - Registers 10th victory Gausman (10-8) earned the win over Baltimore on Thursday, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out two batters over eight innings.
Impact The only runs against Gausman came on Colton Cowser's two-run homer in the third inning. The veteran hurler yielded only one hit outside of that frame and retired the final eight batters he faced. Gausman notched his fourth quality start over six outings since the beginning of July, and he's gone 4-1 with a 3.70 ERA across 41.1 frames during that span. Despite that solid stretch, Gausman continues to underwhelm in the strikeout department -- he has just 30 punchouts over the aforementioned 41.1-inning span and is on track to average fewer than a strikeout per inning for the first time since 2018.
