Austin Wynns - Hits third homerWynns went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 22-7 loss to Toronto.
ImpactThe 30-year-old tried to keep the game close with his two-run single in the second inning, but his seventh-inning solo shot was little more than a consolation prize in the lopsided game. Wynns has started four of Baltimore's last eight contests, but it may be more due to a crowded weekend schedule with four games in three days against Toronto than anything based on performance. He's slashing .184/.238/.298 with three homers, 13 RBI, 11 runs scored and a stolen base in 123 plate appearances as the backup to Pedro Severino.

Anthony Santander - Blasts another homerSantander went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Sunday's 22-7 loss to Toronto.
ImpactWhile it wasn't a pretty weekend for Baltimore as a whole, Santander went 6-for-13 (.462) with three homers, six RBI and six runs scored in the four-game series against Toronto. The outfielder is on a bit of a surge, which has lifted his season slash line to .249/.293/.449 through 400 plate appearances. He's added 17 homers, 47 RBI, 50 runs scored, a stolen base and 23 doubles in 101 contests overall.

Ryan Mountcastle - Swats homer in lossMountcastle went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 22-7 loss to Toronto.
ImpactThe 24-year-old went deep in the third inning, but even with his homer, Baltimore trailed 16-4 at the time. Mountcastle has been excellent in his first full major-league season, slashing .264/.316/.498 with 28 long balls, 79 RBI, 68 runs scored and four stolen bases through 507 plate appearances. He's gone yard in three of his last five contests.

Zac Lowther - Nightmarish start SundayLowther (0-2) allowed seven runs on four hits and three walks while striking out four in two-plus innings, taking the loss Sunday versus Toronto.
ImpactThe Toronto offense spared no expense in what ended up being a 22-7 game. Lowther's biggest mistakes resulted in a grand slam by Lourdes Gurriel and a solo home run by Vladimir Guerrero. The southpaw also put Gurriel aboard with a walk in the third inning before Spenser Watkins took over on the mound. Lowther owns a 9.92 ERA, 1.78 WHIP and 17:9 K:BB across his first 16.1 big-league innings. Despite the struggles, he could remain in the rotation since Baltimore has nothing but pride to play for at this point in the season. He lines up for a road start in Boston next weekend.

Randal Grichuk - Three hits in big winGrichuk went 3-for-6 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 22-7 win over Baltimore.
ImpactGrichuk was one of six Blue Jays batters to record multiple hits in the blowout contest. He's gone 10-for-27 (.370) with a home run, four RBI and five runs scored through 12 games in September despite only seeing a part-time role. For the year, the outfielder owns a .247/.289/.437 slash line with 22 homers, 80 RBI, 58 runs scored and 23 doubles.
